INDIAN PARENTS SHARE THEIR HERITAGES

EXCLUSIVE 'DIWALI CELEBRATIONS'

On Friday, October 20th 2006, the Indian parents of the ASB Sukhumvit Campus celebrated the 'Diwali' or the Festival of Lights with the school. Most of the parents and students came in beautiful and colorful traditional Indian costumes to mark the occasion.

All students enjoyed looking at the display of ethnic Indian products and informational materials, and sampled Indian delicacies. Students also had the opportunity to get their hands painted in a traditional style known as henna art. This was extremely popular, and the whole event was an enjoyable one.
