The American School of Bangkok is licensed by the Thai Ministry of Education. The school is a member of the International Schools Association of Thailand.

       ASB is accredited by the Western Association of School and Colleges (WASC). Accreditation from WASC brought The American School of Bangkok alongside top schools in the USA and other quality schools around the globe.

     We are also a member of the East Asia Regional Council of Overseas Schools (EARCOS). Membership with EARCOS gives ASB administrators and teachers opportunities to meet and share experience with educators from around the world, keep up-to-date with news and innovations, and attend useful seminars.

      The American School of Bangkok has been selected to be among the very few "white schools" by the Ministry of Education for being a drug-free school in honor of His Majesty the King. By campaigning against the use of harmful drugs, we hope to embed a deep sense of discipline, responsibility, family and social values and concern for our community and enviroment.
