It is the
time of the year to bring fun and entertainment
to parents, students, teachers, staff and even
the whole of the Sukhumvit community. The American
School of Bangkok is proud to announce the school's
greatest endeavor of the year- the "Sukhumvit
Fair 2004".

Objectives
The American School of Bangkok organizes the
Sukhumvit Fair each year to celebrate cultural
diversity and international understanding within
the community. The fair is one of the first
international attractions on Sukhumvit Road
featuring international cuisine, fabulous music,
great games and prizes, spectacular cultural
show, etc.
Brief
History
In
1995, The American School of Bangkok held its
first Fun Fair. Following tremendous success
and steady growth, the event has been renamed
the fair to "Sukhumvit Fair" to suit
the aim of bringing unity to our richly diverse
community. Last year's Sukhumvit 2003was a tremendous
success with more than 4,500 visitors. Funds
raised amounted to almost 400,000 baht, which
went towards upcoming school developmental projects.
Experience
the Sukhumvit Fair
The Sukhumvit Fair is truly an international
experience. From the moment you enter the grounds
of The American School of Bangkok, you will
witness a magical evening. The fair promises
a wild time with costume contests, clowns, cartoon
characters, raffles prizes, cultural performances
and live music. Delicacies from diverse countries
are also available.
Proceeds
All net
proceeds from the Sukhumvit Fair 2004 event
will be presented to UNICEF for their charitable
programs.
