| ASB celebrated
the traditional Thai festival "Loy Krathong"
on Monday, November 18th 2002 (for ASB Sukhumvit
Campus) and on Tuesday, November 19th 2002 (for
ASB Bangna Campus). Many students, teachers, and
parents came beautifully dressed in traditional
Thai costumes to mark the occasion.
The events
of the day included a parade of students, a
Krathong contest, Loy Krathong Quiz sessions,
traditional Thai dances by students, and "Rum
Wong Wan Loy Krathong" dance session by
teachers, and the floating of Krathongs that
were made in the classrooms. There was also
a presentation by a professional Thai Dance
troupe, which exhibited the beauties of the
"Land of Smiles" and its traditions
with their performance.
It was
really fun-filled and enjoyable day.
