SONGKRAN
CELEBRATIONS 2004
The American
School of Bangkok's Sukhumvit Campus celebrated
the annual Thai New Year, or the so-called Songkran
Festival on Friday, April 2nd 2004.
Events
of the day included a traditional water ritual
ceremony. Students poured water on their teachers'
hands, and the teachers, in return, gave a little
blessing to them. After that everyone sampled
Thai delicacies.
It was
a beautiful and cultural occasion and will remain
in the fond memories of the members of the ASB
community.
